Objetivo principal

O ObsCare WCR – Worldwide maternal and child Care and Research é um projeto demonstrador de um sistema inovador que cobre o circuito de dados materno-infantis, dos cuidados primários aos hospitalares, passando pela informação gerida pelas grávidas, e que inclui ferramentas de suporte à decisão e cálculo de indicadores internacionais, tendo por base tecnologias abertas.

Objectives of the project

  • Use in primary health care exploring communication between primary and hospital care. This will make it possible to extend the follow-up period to the first months of life, as well as to promote the use of personal devices by pregnant women in the collection and management of data and communication with health professionals.
  • Prepare for the international market by training ObsCare with a multilingual version (with Portuguese versions in Portugal, UK English, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish in Spain) and including the ability to benchmark international reference institutions and practices (eg. : EBCOG, ICHOM, FIGO, OSCE).
  • Support decision making and management – this line aims to provide health professionals with tools to support clinical decision, as well as instruments to facilitate the management of departmental resources (human and physical).
